Abu Uwais (rahimahullaah Ta'aala) said: "But the first thing Ahlul Bid'ah would take over is the hearts - in the beginning. The one who responds to [stands against] Ahlul Bid'ah is a Mujaahid - a true Muslim warrior!
Abu Uwais (rahimahullaah Ta'aala) said: "Bid'ah has destroyed many of this Ummah. Bid'ah has deadened many of their hearts. Bid'ah has weakened many of their hearts. Bid'ah has sickened many of their hearts. They don't know left from right, and top from bottom. They have no direction. This is why we're in the position today that we're in. How [few] people know the proper Islaam? Bid'ah has done horrible and abhorent matters to this Deen.
Ahlul Bid'ah are dangerous; they're worse than cancer and I have cancer. Ahlul Bid'ah are dangerous; they are worse than you can imagine. Ahlul Bid'ah are to be dealt with."
Nasr bin Zakariyaa (rahimahullaah) said I heard Muhammad bin Yahyaa adh-Dhuhlee (rahimahullaah) saying, I heard Yahyaa bin Yahyaa (rahimahullaah) saying: "Defense of the Sunnah is more superior than jihaad in the path of Allaah." So I said, "A man spends his wealth, tires his body and strives (in jihaad), so is this one (still) better than him? He said, 'Yes, by many times!'
All the Imams of the Sunnah were/are upon this way. All the Books of Hadeeth have at least one chapter refuting Ahlul Bid'ah.
Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullaah) when he corrected Shaikhul-Islaam Isma'eel al-Harawee, he said: 'I love Shaikh Isma'eel al-Harawee, but (al-Haqq Ahabu ilaya) the truth is more beloved to me. The truth has more right to be followed.'"
They (the great Scholars) would hate the People of Bid‘ah, those who innovate into the Religion that which is not from it – they would not show them love and they would not keep companionship or friendship with them, they would not listen to their speech, they would not sit in their gatherings, they would not debate or argue with them regarding the Religion. They would see it as necessary to protect their hearing from their falsehood. This falsehood, that if it passed into the ears and settled in the hearts would cause great harm, and would draw one towards corrupt whisperings and dangers – it was regarding this that Allāh, the Most High, revealed: ‘And when you see those who engage in false conversation regarding Our verses, then stay away from them till they turn to another topic.’ (Soorah al-An‘ām: 68)”
There is no doubt that this innovation is something that is unique to the Khawārij and the Mu’tazilah. May Allāh guide them, may Allāh guide them.”
Ahlul-Bid’ah’s attack on Ahlus-Sunnah (the Salafees) for implementing the Sharee’ah is in reality an attack on the Sharee’ah itself, and an indirect accusation of Allaah and His Messenger (salallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)!
We know indeed the grief which their words cause you (O Muhammad): it is not you that they deny, but it is the Verses (the Qur`an) of Allaah that the Dhaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers) deny. (Al-An’aam, ayah 33)
Ahlul-Bid’ah – due to the malice and disease in their hearts – have many deceptions, tricks, lies and false claims by which they seek to deceive the Muslims, desiring to lure them away from The Straight Path, The Saved Sect.
Al-Fadl bin Ziyad said, “I heard Ahmad bin Hanbal being asked about a Muslim individual visiting one of the pagans who had fallen ill. He [al-Imam Ahmad] said, ‘If he thinks that if he visits him while he is sick and tells him about Islam, he may accept it, then let him visit him, as the Prophet (may Allah raise him in rank and grant him peace) visited the Jewish boy who was sick and told him about Islam.’
”Ibn Taymiyyah obliterates the argument of Ahlul-Bid’ah who claim they save the sinners!

Ibn Taymiyyah obliterates the argument of Ahlul-Bid’ah who claim they save the sinners!
Ibn Taymiyyah (d.728) said: “Some of them used to say: “We have made the people repent!” I asked them: “From what?” They responded: “From highway robbery and theft and so on.” So I told them: “Their state before you making them repent was better than after you making them repent because before they were sinners who believed what they were doing was forbidden – and they hoped for the Mercy of Allaah, and they would repent to Allaah or at least have the intention to repent! And now through this “tawbah” of yours, you have misguided them and made them into people who commit shirk, exiting the Islamic Sharee’ah, such that they love what Allaah hates and they hate what Allaah loves… And I made clear that these innovations that they and others are upon are worse than sins.” (Majmoo’ al-Fataawa, 20/103) And this is our argument against the khawaarij and others who recruit sinful Muslims into their sects under the guise, “They are no longer sinners.” So we respond with the response of Ibn Taymiyyah: “Their state before you making them repent was better than after you making them repent because before they were sinners who believed what they were doing was forbidden!” And now they believe the evil they perpetrate is sanctioned by Islam!
Sufyaan ath-Thawree (died 161H) explained the reason for this as follows:
“Innovations are more beloved to Iblees than sins, for indeed sins are repented from whilst innovations are not repented from.”
Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) stated:
“And the meaning of their saying: ‘Indeed innovations are not repented from’ is: That the innovator who takes as his religion that which Allaah did not legislate and nor His Messenger. His evil deeds are beautified for him such that he sees them as something good – so he will not repent whilst he sees his deeds as being good. That is because the beginning of repentance is to know that the act is evil from which one must repent – or that he knows that he has left off a good deed whether obligated or recommended so that he may repent. But so long as he sees his act as good whilst in reality it is evil, then he will not repent.
However, even here repentance is still possible by Allaah’s guidance of him so that the truth becomes clear to him, just as Allaah guided the unbelievers, the hypocrites and groups of people from the people of innovation and misguidance so that a person follows the truth of what he knows.”
Ibn ‘Abbaas (radiyallaahu ‘anhumaa) said:
“Do not sit with the people of desires (Ahlul-Ahwaa) for their gatherings are the cause of sickness in the hearts.”
Ibraaheem an-Nakha’ee (d. 96H) said:
“Do not sit with Ahlul-Ahwaa for indeed their sittings remove the light of Imaan from the hearts, they rob the beauty and good countenance of the face, and they leave in the hearts of the believers hatred.”
(Al-Ibaanah, 2/439)
Here is a beautiful hadeeth from our 6thImaam (عليه السلام)showing just how crucial it is to expose bid`ah (innovation) that people create in Islaam, and the great reward you will receive, insha’Allaah, if you were to expose these bid`ah.
And pursue not that of which thou hast no knowledge; for every act of hearing, or of seeing or of (feeling in) the heart will be enquired into (on the Day of Reckoning). (17:36)

“
It is obligatory to punish anyone who ascribes himself to the people of innovation, or defends them, or praises them, or hates that they should be spoken against, or begins to make excuses for them.
In fact, it is obligatory to punish everyone that is aware of their condition yet doesn’t assist in fighting against them, for indeed fighting against these individuals is from the greatest of obligations.

How could dancing and doing moonwalk be zikr of Allaah سبحنا و تعل ? How is this remembrance of Allahs Messenger (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ?
(Watch after 1 minute)
We should thank Allaah سبحنا و تعل for guiding us away from this.
Allah Most High says:
“And there are among men, those that purchase idle tales, to mislead (men) from the path of Allah and throw ridicule. For such there will be a humiliating punishment” (Surah Luqman, V. 6).
The great Companion Abd Allah ibn Mas’ud (Allah be pleased with him) states in the explanation of the word “idle tales”:
“By Allah its meaning is music” (Sunan al-Bayhaqi, 1/223 & authenticated by al-Hakim in his Mustadrak, 2/411).
Imam Ibn Abi Shayba related with his own transmission that He (Ibn Mas’ud) said:
“I swear By Him besides whom there is no God that it refers to singing” (132/5).
The great Companion and exegete of the Qur’an, Abd Allah ibn Abbas (Allah be pleased with him) states:
“The meaning of the word is music, singing and the like” (Sunan al-Bayhaqi, 1/221& Musannaf Ibn abi Shayba, 132/5).
The Prohibition of music and singing
The Noble Qur'an - Luqman 31:6
And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e. music, singing, etc.) to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah without knowledge, and takes it (the Path of Allah, the Verses of the Qur'an) by way of mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment (in the Hell-Fire).
Ibn Masood (ra) said about this verse “I swear by the One other than Whom there is no God that it refers to singing [ghinaa].”, and he repeated this three times. Ibn Abbaas (ra) said it refered to ‘singing and the like’ while Jaabir (ra) is reported to view its meaning to signify singing and listening to songs. Many taabi'oon such as Mujaahid, Ikrimah, Mak-hool and Umar ibn Shu'ayb viewed it as a censure of music and song.
Hadith - Bukhari (#787) [Also related by Tabari]
Sa'id ibn Jbayr reported that Ibn 'Abbas said about the verse: “And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks” (31:6), that, “ldle talks means singing and the like.”
The Noble Qur'an - Al-Isra 17:64
“And Istafiz [literally means: befool them gradually] those whom you can among them with your voice (i.e. songs, music, and other call for Allah’s disobedience)…”
Hadith - Bukhari 7:494
Narrated Abu 'Amir or Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari that he heard the Prophet saying, “From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks, and the use of musical instruments as lawful. And (from them), there will be some who will stay near the side of a mountain, and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, 'Return to us tomorrow.’ Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and Allah will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection.”
The Noble Qur'an - An-Najm 53:57-62
The Day of Resurrection draws near, None besides Allah can avert it, (or advance it, or delay it). Do you then wonder at this recital (the Qur'an)? And you laugh at it and weep not, Wasting your (precious) lifetime in pastime and amusements (singing, etc.). So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone).
‘Ikrimah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: it was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbaas that al-sumood [verbal noun from saamidoon, translated here as “Wasting your (precious) lifetime in pastime and amusements (singing)”] means “singing”, in the dialect of Himyar; it might be said “Ismidi lanaa” [‘sing for us’ – from the same root as saamidoon/sumood] meaning “ghaniy” [sing]. And he said (may Allaah have mercy on him): When they [the kuffaar] heard the Qur’aan, they would sing, then this aayah was revealed.
Ibn Katheer (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: Allah says (interpretation of the meaning) “Wasting your (precious) lifetime in pastime and amusements (singing)” – Sufyaan al-Thawri said, narrating from his father from Ibn ‘Abbaas: (this means) singing. This is Yemeni (dialect): ismad lana means ghan lana [sing to us]. This was also the view of ‘Ikrimah. (Tafseer Ibn Katheer).
Hadith - Sunan of Abu Dawood, #4909, Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud
Salam ibn Miskin, quoting an old man who witnessed AbuWa'il in a wedding feast, said: They began to play, amuse and sing. He united the support of his hand round his knees that were drawn up, and said: I heard Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud) say: I heard the apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) say: Singing produces hypocrisy in the heart.
Imaam Maalik (may Allaah have mercy on him) was asked about playing the drum or flute, if a person happens to hear the sound and enjoy it whilst he is walking or sitting. He said: He should get up if he finds that he enjoys it, unless he is sitting down for a need or is unable to get up. If he is on the road, he should either go back or move on. (al-Jaami’ by al-Qayrawaani, 262). He (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: “The only people who do things like that, in our view, are faasiq’s.” (Tafseer al-Qurtubi, 14/55).
We should thank Allaah سبحنا و تعل for guiding us away from this.
